Below is a description of each of the currently available Custom Fixture connector types
Kelvin Blades
100-161A - Large Kelvin blades
Large Kelvin blade fitted flush to surface
2- wire connection for best accuracy
For pin diameter = 0.7-1.5 mm
Min Pin Length = 3.0 mm
Max Pin Length = 9.5 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
100-161B - Small Kelvin blades
Small Kelvin blade fitted flush to surface
2- wire connection for best accuracy
For pin diameter = 0.4 - 1.2 mm
Min Pin Length = 2.0 mm
Max Pin Length = 7.0 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
Spring Probes
100-162A - Large Castellated spring probe
Large castellated spring probe, with receptacle fitted to plate
Height above surface uncompressed = 8.0 mm
Height above surface when compressed = 3.6 mm
Head diameter = 3.0 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
Due to size, there are placement restrictions on smaller grid sizes
100-162B - Small Serrated spring probe
Small serrated spring probe, with receptacle fitted to plate
Height above surface uncompressed = 4.0 mm
Height above surface uncompressed = 1.5 mm
Head diameter = 1.5 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
100-162C
Small Serrated spring probe - recessed 2 mm
Small Serrated spring probe
Depth = 2.0 mm
Travel = 2.5mm
For pin length = 2.5 to 4.5 mm
Head diameter = 1.5 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
100-162D
Small Serrated spring probe - recessed 4 mm
Small Serrated spring probe
Depth = 4.0 mm
Travel = 2.5 mm
For pin length = 4.5 to 6.5 mm
Head diameter = 1.5 mm
Current rating = 3 Amps
Red / Black Socket Pair
100-163A - 4mm Red / Black 4mm socket pair
Pair of Red and Black 4mm safety sockets wired to Source and Power nodes.
Distance between connectors = standard 19 mm / 0.75 inch separation.
Useful for flying lead connections to core or case of UUT.
Fixing Holes
Fixing hole through whole 25mm platter.
Can be used for attaching clamps or your own accessories later.
100-164A - 3 mm fixing hole
100-164B - 5 mm fixing hole
100-164C - 6.5 mm / 1/4" fixing hole
100-164D - 8 mm fixing hole
100-164E - 10 mm / 3/8 " fixing hole
100-164F - 1.5 mm fixing hole (also suitable for blank pin holes where no electrical connection is needed, but a hole is needed to fit whole bobbin flush to fixture)
3.0 mm hole is actually 3.4mm dia for 20mm depth, openings to 10 mm for last 5mm
5.0 mm hole is actually 5.4mm dia for 20mm depth, opening to 13 mm for last 5mm
6.5 mm hole is actually 7.0 m dia for 20mm depth, opening to 16 mm for last 5mm
8.0mm hole is actually 8.5 mm dia for 20mm depth, opening to 20 mm for last 5mm
10.0 mm hole is actually 10.4mm dia for 20mm depth, opening to 25 mm for last 5mm
1.5 mm hole is actually 2.0 mm dia for 20mm depth, opening to 10 mm for last 5mm
Raised Area
100-165A - 10 mm raised area
100-165B - 20 mm raised area
100-165C - 30 mm raised area
A raised area of solid plastic, above platter surface.
Can be placed around your UUT as a locating guide.
Available in fixed footprint dimensions, based on grid side selected.
