Hello;

We have 2 AT3600's that have problems.

1- "Self Test Fail Zero offset error Code 0g6" please?

The problem occurred today, after starting the device. We had maintenance activities on the line and the energy was off for 5 days. When we powered the Voltech again it crashed, printing this error.

2- Second Voltech is an older one, It seems it cannot make high voltage tests. Normally we apply 1750VAC for HPAC test, but whenever I go over 600V, it fails and the result is 0.000uA, just like it goes in protection. When I run selft test in this device, AC and DC sources fail (I'll send the error codes in couple of minutes.)

May I have information about these problems? Is it something that we could fix?

Dear Emre,

The 0g6 error can be due to a safety interlock system. If all of the connections are made accept the HVOP to HVIP then 0g6 failures will occur. Apart from this, as long as nothing is fitted to the fixture when self-test is begin executed, any errors indicate a hard fault and the units will need repair.

Best regards,

Tim.

Hello Tim;

About the safety interlock, you are right, whenever I cancel the interlock and try a basic test (like winding resistance) I can make measurements. I took out the Voltech and installed another one to the line, and the second device didn't have the 0g6 error. Is it possible that the Voltech itself has something wrong on the interlock circuit for example?

Regards.

Hi Emre,

Unfortunately it does sound as though the AT3600 has a fault. The 0g6 error occurs when it it cannot generate any high power from the internal power amplifier used to generate high voltages. It could be a number of faults on the power card preventing this from working.

Best regards,

Tim.
