With regards to the two possible situation you mentioned.
The closest to the one we discussed is “1) a 1D barcode scanned directly into the AT5600. Also, would like it to get serial number and run without triggering to run after getting serial.”
As you may already know - the AT5600 has been designed to work in both manual and robotic production situations.
In a Robotic Operation the AT5600 Remote Port provides signal control systems as seen on the attached section of the AT5600 Manual “3.7.2.Robotic Operation”.
Although, as of the moment the USB BAR CODE reader for the AT5600 is still under development (as discussed, I’ll keep you posted once available).
In this case once available it will scan the 1D Barcode directly into the AT5600 which will simplify the process of getting theAT test results to a specific serialized transformer, giving you traceability of results.
Also, I’ve attached “10.3.3 Remote Port” section of the AT5600 manual for your reference as this one discusses the TLL compatible interface configuration for the Remote Control and Monitor Output you wanted to implement.
