How is Hi-Pot testing done using parallel primary? windings?
To perform Hipot tests with parallel primaries in one program without any manual intervention an OUT test may be used.
The OUT test provides 6 discrete outputs from the top USER PORT of the AT3600, these are controlled from the test program. These are open collector outputs which control a relay(s)
This will allow the parallel primaries to be separated when doing a Hipot test in one continuous AT program.
If the OUT test is not fitted on your AT3600 it is available for purchase from Voltech and is delivered as firmware installed by the customer.

Alternatively a relay is available from voltech part # 33-004
Make sure the coil resistance at 12V needs to be > 150 Ohms
