Is there a way to measure high voltages with the AT3600?
The attached circuit was developed and used to measure the dc output of an ionizer at up to 5kV.
The diodes and capacitors are part of the customer specified measuring circuit. The differential amp behind the dotted lines is the input circuit of the AT3600.
All that was required were TWO HV resistors (constructed of a chain of LV resistors) to form the input legs of the differential amplifier.
The important point is to treat the AT3600 inputs as those of a differential amplifier, not as a single ended input.
