How do you calculate error currents introduced by the DC1000?
The key to the versatility of the DC1000 is its unique and proprietary current compensation technique that virtually eliminates the effect of the DC1000’s impedance on the measurements made by the LCR meter.
The effect the DC1000 has on an inductance reading (error current) is dependant on the test Voltage and frequency. The graph (attached) should be used to determine the effect for a particular test.
Voltech is the only DC source manufacturer specifying a method for calculating how the source affects the inductance measurement.
