Question:
How are tests sent to the AT3600?
Answer:
The AT3600 is a complete “all in one box” test station.
It is unique in that it integrates signal sources, measuring circuits and relay matrix in one box under the control of an integrated microprocessor. This special arrangement provides the benefits of speed, accuracy, flexibility and reliability.
There are no commands to run tests individually, since this would compromise all these benefits.
The AT3600 must be loaded with the complete test program (which is easy to edit with the Editor or in a text editor) and then the complete program is run.
The process is:
Load the complete program (.atp file)
Run (This is a simple TTL control line on the REMOTE port as used by the footswitch, or a front panel soft "Start" button.
Take results data via the server.
It is possible to do all this via the OLE commands built into the SERVER. These are documented in the AT3600 user manual in the SERVER section.
