How do I add “Stop on fail” for the last test in a program?
The stop on fail option does not work for the last test in a program. (Editor)
Stop on fail is designed as a time saver. If a part fails a test during a program, the program halts and allows the user to abort the test if there is no point carrying on with the program. This saves the time involved in completing a test.
From this point of view, there is no reason to have a 'stop on fail' for the last test, and this is how the AT testers are designed to work.
For users who want to use this option with the last test (e.g. to retry the whole program and avoid recording a 'fail' on the server) we suggest adding a 'dummy' test at the end.
For example add a CTY test. This is a very fast test and would be guaranteed to pass if it had already been used as the first test.
